Mikko Heinonen has been asked to be the new CEO and partner of Olo Group. He will be starting in his new position from 10 February 2020. Heinonen will be in charge of the operational management of the group.
Earlier in his career, Heinonen has worked as the Business Director of Royal Restaurants, being in charge of the fine dining restaurants in the group. Heinonen also worked as the CEO of Palace Kämp Group between 2001 and 2010. In 2010, he started a private business and founded a restaurant and event company, Lumo Services. Though his business, he has been running e.g. Villa Störsvik, a conference hotel and restaurant near Helsinki.
Both Pekka Terävä and Petri Lukkarinen, founders of Olo Group, agree: “Heinonen brings significant industry knowledge to our company – he has over thirty years of diverse experience in sales, marketing and management in the restaurant and hotel industry. In the future, PekkaTerävä will focus on developing Olo Group’s food concepts, consulting customers in the food industry and coaching kitchen staff. Petri Lukkarinen will be responsible for Olo Group’s HR, Resource Management and Finance. Teuvo Salminen will continue as Chairman and Partner of Olo Group Oy.
